Wow, I’ve hardly had time to breathe. How is everyone? I hope you are not procrastinating your holiday shopping, all the products are flying off the shelves around here! I’ve had a little fun today, I got to shoot the new Jonathan Adler squirrel ring box and the Jonathan Adler him/her mug. I really genuinely adore all the Adler ceramics. He brilliantly combines playful themes with classy style. The IDEO Eyes Open: New York book is also delightful. As a citizen of New York for only 6 months, reading it inspired me to explore so much more. It highlights places I never would have found otherwise. Whew! What a freakin’ weekend! We were only gone for a few days but it seems like forever! I mean the orders were outta condivol and we were (and still are) lovin it! Monday was the biggest day in fred flare history!!!! WOOHOO! Yeah like a divillion orders passed through here and we totes did it in style! Check out my pics from yesterday…
Okay, just to give you an idea, we are usually DONE packing orders by 2pm and sometimes on a Monday, we are finished by 3pm. BUT, yesterday at 4pm, we still had all those bins full of orders and as you can see, Chris was still packing away! It was kind of awesome though - cuz everyone was FULL SPEED AHEAD and really workin hard! The energy was so awesome and hullo team work can accomplish ANYTHING! By 5pm all the orders were dunzo (I have no idea how it happened, it was all a blur) and the peeps that worked so hard to finish everything all day - offered to stay and help clean up!
As you can see, we neded all the help we could get! The warehouse looked like Broadway after the Macy’s Day Parade! haha! We all stayed late and finished everything! Luckily when I got home, there was a DELISH piece of cake waiting for me! (Thanks Pchun)
Anyhoot, I just wanted to thank all you awesome customers for ordering with us! And I especially want to thank al our awesome associates for hauling azz to get everything finished and shipped out! We have the BEST team EVER this year and I’m so happy to be working with all of you! GO HOLIDAY 2008!!!
